See the path into a Pittsburgh business before you go: photographs taken at seated eye level, from the curb to the counter, with the measurements written out.

How it works
- We photograph the whole path in order: arriving, the shop front, the door, the threshold, inside, the aisle, the counter, and the restroom.
- We record four measurements: threshold height, clear door width, the narrowest point on the path, and counter height.
- The business reviews the profile and signs an attestation that it is accurate.
- We publish the numbers, not a score. Nothing is a pass or a fail. You compare them against your own chair, scooter, or walker and decide for yourself.
For anyone who needs to know before they go: power and manual wheelchair users, scooter and walker users, parents with strollers, and the people who plan outings with them. We're starting in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Accessibility information is provided by the business. Upfront Accessible does not inspect, rate, or certify.
For businesses
Customers ask whether they can get in, get around, and get served. A profile answers before they call. We are working with our first group of Pittsburgh businesses now.
